Why start here?

A difficult pregnancy situation can involve many questions at once: who to talk to, what help is available nearby, and where to begin. LifeBridge is being developed to help women and parents find their way to appropriate support.

Beginning in Alberta

Our first focus is Alberta. We hope to build connections city by city, learning what pregnancy centres and other community organizations already offer and where another layer of encouragement could help.

In time, we would love to explore serving British Columbia and Saskatchewan as well. For now, we are concentrating on a responsible beginning in Alberta.

What we are working on

• Building a founding board and an appropriate organizational structure.
• Developing relationships with local support organizations.
• Clarifying referral, privacy, and follow-up practices.
• Planning a manageable starting budget and volunteer roles.
